    out of adjustment

I bought a new scope 6X24X44 and the adjustment won't go far enough.I went to the range and tried to zero it at 100 yds. When I got to windage I needed to go right by several inches but when I got to the end of turning the turret to the full right it wouldn't go any further, I still needed to go another 3 inches to the right to zero it on the bullseye. There must be a way to remove the turret and readjust windage to zero. I can remove the turret with the screw but doe's anyone know where to go from there?

    Thanx,

What brand and model of scope is it? Many high magnification scopes, particularly those with 1" tubes, are notorious for having very limited elevation and windage travel. Pics of your mounting setup would help too.

Loosen your rings, realign and try again. Something is not seated right or bent if you're exceeding the adjustment range.
If everything appears ok, then try flipping one of the rings around.
