    Spotting Scope at COSTCO

Just bought a spotting scope at COSTCO in Redlands,CA for $54.99 + tax. It is exactly the same as this http://www.opticsplanet.net/meade-20...ope-81011.html I'll test it this weekend, I only shoot 100 yards or maybe up to 200. I hope it works, if not I can always return it at costco locally. They have 2 full pallets in stock.

For $55 and being able to return it, you can hardly lose.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be at Costco today and have a look.

One of the nice things about Costco is their return policy. You do need to keep all the packaging and accessories (they check at least for electronics - make sure all the cables, etc are there).

                But it's pretty no hassle.

Well I just pulled out the tripod and one of the legs broke . Looks like I'll test that return policy. I'll give it another try. It's actually this one http://www.opticsplanet.net/meade-20...ope-81011.html

Can you post the Costco item number? If so, it will be easier to see which stores have it locally. You can ask at the service desk/new membership/returns area. Thanks!

i just got one from the victorville store they also have a bunch of them. i took it out to see if i could see a 223 hole at 200m. i set it up the tripod and could not see anything.the tri pod sucks. i then putthe scope on the gound with a sand sock and it was 50 time better. with it on the sand sock i could see a 223 hole at 370m. not a bad scope for 50 bucks. thanks for posting this

I checked for this item at the Novato Costco today and couldn't find it. Does anyone know if they will transfer it in for you from another store?
