Help! Stripped Ring Screw

Ive got an old Lachmayr Low-Swing set up on a 1976 Ruger M77 and I want to get some new glass on it but one of the screws must have been JBWelded on or something because the allen wrench stripped the hell out of it trying to get it out. I really like the swing away set up so i can use both the glass and iron sights so i want to save the mount. is there any way i can get replacement screws that will fit because I might have to drill the screw out. Or if I must get rid of the whole setup, Ive seen the Ruger/Weaver adapters for Mini14s and 10/22s but will they fit on the M77? I was thinking get a pair of those and put some See-Thru mounts but I'm not sure if they will work because the iron sights are a little high.
