    Red dot sight

I'm looking for a mid-priced red dot sight for my 10/22. What would you recommend? I've seen the Bushnell trophies and the Burris Fastfire, and cost about as much as I'm willing to spend on a red dot for now.

I do plan on buying the Mueller APV too.

ive had good luck with the cheapies

like the bec/bsa/simmons (the 30mm blazer i tried broke within the week(the internal tube released and just flopped around) i sent it back and simmons sent me a simmons red dot and it has been great for years

also a little secret i learned for free batterys

just take the cmos battery out of old computers at recycler areas

and never use them on full brightness as just one number down uses half the current

i really like this one even though it is tiny i inch tube its great for tiny guns like an ar-7 or a m6 scout

I don't have the mount for it and it would not fit your 10-22 anyway but if you have 30mm rings you are good to go let me know PM me

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I want to see some in person before I make a purchase.

I got my G&P aimpoint clone from a local place in orange county for about $100. Red-green with cantilever mount. Looks nice and has worked great for over a year.. I sold my trueglow sight after i picked this up. I also have a fake eotech i got at the last crossroads show. Not going to Irag I see no use for spending $500 on a site. If you want more info let me know.

You'll probably want the low mount version for a 10/22 - the cantilever mount is designed for the high AR15 iron sights, and is too high for most traditional rifles.

If you're using 30mm Ruger rings, it won't matter, but if you're mounting on a Weaver or Picatinny rail, it will. FWIW, the cantilever mount on my 1337tactical clonepoint has been very solid and sturdy.

I recently got one of the 1337tactical's aimpoint clones and its been working fine for me. Its been holding zero for me. i've only used it on 3 range trips but after 500 rounds or so down the pipe, its still holding. Just remember to buy some loctite and use it on all the screws for the mount.

That having been said, i was not happy with 1337tactical's service. After payment i emailed them to ask when they would ship. a day later they emailed me back with a tracking number and said it went out that day. Tracked it on canada's postal service website, and it comes up as electronically inputted but not picked up/dropped off for shipping. I await pateintly thinking their system updates late like teh USPS system. Nope, after couple days of waiting i emailed again. A day or two later i get another email saying it will ship the next day. Eventually, i did get it. But why lie and say you shipped it if you didnt?

How long did it take total from your date of order to date of arrival?

When I ordered mine, it took a week or so to arrive. I wasn't in a hurry for it, as I've got an assortment of scopes and gear, so I didn't do any tracking or anything. It just showed up one day...
