Hi All,
I'm admittedly a noob when it comes to long distance shooting.
I have a Daniel Defense M4V3 18" barrel and I've recently mounted a Nikon Prostaff 3X9X40 scope. This has been a ton of fun. I've only used it at 100m so far and am very happy with the results. I think I have it zeroed and any fault is my own inexperience. But..
I can't help to think what it would be like to increase the magnification.
The kid in me wants to put a 32 on and see what it looks like. This seems like a very expensive experiment so I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is in the same boat and what you did.
I understand that this kind of magnification might be ridiculous considering the platform I'm attaching it to but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
