    optics for ar

can some one recommend a good 2-4 power optic for an ar 15 good for 100 yards or less?

also a 22LR scope for my 10/22 ruger?

not looking for a tactical laser but rather a 4x mag rifle scope that wont cost 500 bucks? are they out there?

does anybody make a good scope in the 150 and under price for target shooting?

For the AR, check out the Millet DMS 1-4x. A lot of people give it good reviews and say its a great low priced optic. For you 10/22, check out the Mueller APV line of scopes, a lot of people on www.rimfirecentral.com have good success with them.

Read a lot of good things on Millett DMS. For the price, I don't think anything can come close.

Weaver Classic 1-3 is well regarded and is Japanese glass but isn't all tactical looking like the DMS or such.

I've heard both good and bad about the DMS.

Have had good experiences with Trijicon 1-4X Accupoint.

If you look around a bit, I bet you could find one for around $500-

I sound like a broken record, but the Vortex Crossfire 4-12x40 AO fineplex or 4-12x40 V-brite (with illuminated center dot) can be had for $159 shipped and have 90% light transmission, good fit and finish and backed 110% by Vortex and LO.
