LaRue Pivot Mount for Aimpoint 3x?

Has anyone ever used this pivot mount? Is it easy to use and flip aside? Can you set it up to flip to the left or right? Durability... Ease of use? Thanks

And YES, either left or right is fine.

Yes, I have one. Yes, it is very easy to use. Just pull back and flip. Very solid construction and positive mechanism. You could set it up to flip either way, but it works better flipping to the right.

I ordered the Eotech 3x (still on backorder) and it says it comes with the flip mount. Any idea if this is Eotech's make of mount or some other makers, such as LaRue?

I am ordering one for my Fakepoint 3x magnifier. Nothing but great things mentioned about this mount. I wouldnt use anything else.

LaRue hasn't made an EOTech magnifier mount yet so EOTech uses their own. They are labeled FXD (Fixed Mount) and FTS (Flip To Side).

i have one. i'm left handed. i mounted it like a right hander would because it makes pivoting easier (pull). whereas if you mount it hanging off the left side fo the gun you have to push to pivot. that would be easily accomplished by holding with verticle grip and pivoting with trigger hand.

you can do it both ways but i like the pulling way, feels less awkward.

i mounted it both ways to test, i wanted to make sure the pivotted out silloutte of the magnifier wouldn't obstruct peripheral vision. turns out for me mounting in a right handed configuration (hanging off right side of gun) blocks less peripheral since my left eye can see around it, where if it were hanging off the left side of the gun i wouldn't be able to see around it.
