What an I missing here?

I just recieved my Leupold 30 mm firedot VX-R patrol. I also bought a leupold Mark 2IMS 30 mm mount.

The scope will not fit the mount!!

What gives here? the mount PN is 110291.

I bought the scope mount combo on Amazon. Is the wrong scope mount in the package?

Little help would be great.

No idea did you try the vendor? That's one reason Amazon can be a pain unless it's a trusted company. There were several listed on amazon share the link?

I'm guessing they sent you 1 " mount. Did you measure?

I will measure it when I get off work today. I think the scope needs a 1"mount.

Kinda strange. Just bums me out, I got all excited to mount the scope on my new LMT.

But I guess it just cant be simple.

1" = approximately 25 mm. When you said it didn't fit I assumed you meant it wouldn't fit into the mount. Did it not fit into the ring or did the ring not clamp around the scope?
