I'd save my money and get an EOTech or an Aimpoint.

If not, I'd get a Vortex Strikefire for roughly the same money.

IMHO, tacticool lasers are for the movies...

I bought one to try out, with a Troy gas block mounted front flip up sight, the laser hits it dead on, thus blocking it from being usable.

Well all I can say is that I put one on my 80% flat top. Bore sighted it at 30 yards, took it to the range at 50 yards, tweaked it a bit and was getting decent 2" groups from a rest. It never lost zero after 50 rounds. Both red and green dots were right on. My green has a slight tail but I'm not shooting to 400 yards so big whoop. The external laser was tweaked a bit for close work. I don't care if it looks like a movie dot or not, it'll get the job done, point, click, bang. I like the larger batteries, they're exactly the same ones in my tactical light so less things to worry about and they should last longer. We'll see. The 4 mil dots are 'huge' at distance but then as stated, I'm not going for long-range work.
You're entitled to your opinion, no matter how inconsequential it is.

Yeah I read a review where it was used with an A2 front sight which rendered the laser completely useless. Looks like they didnt think this through at all. Now if you are willing to spend about 1000 more you can get an Eolad or MARS

That is correct - not compatible with an A2. Seems like there's a limited audience for it.
