Cleaning Rings

Before I mount my scope, I would like to clean the rings in case there is any oil on the rings, any recommdations?

I use Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber for anything with oil or residue of any kind.

Lacquer thinner or acetone will leave no residue and will remove all oils/greases.

Isopropyl alcohol will also work, just may not remove all oils/greases on first pass.

Carb Cleaner works good.
