I've been wanting to put a bit more glass on my A3-'03 and see how it does beyond 500 yards. I found an used ATN 8-24x75lu Daytime Professional at a reasonable price, only obvious problem is that the reticle illumination rheostat won't turn off, so I removed the battery
This is a physically big scope. Anybody actually used one of these things, have an opinion? Suitable fordu between 500 & 1k yards, meters, cubits, etc.?
Not going top be used for hunting, just target...
