    Vortex Razor red dot sight

I've been impressed with the durability and utility of this mid-market mini-reflex sight. It's priced in the middle of the road making it a bit more affordable than sights like the Trijicon RMR and it offers better durability than the lower end sights like the Burris FastFire.

Given the warranty of Vortex, I think I'll pick one of these up for my G34.

Not sure why the guy in the video says the RMR Dual Illum is worthless... I've never had a problem with mine.

Vortex makes some good gear for the price. I would say it's a very good value.

I like mine. Nice piece of gear. 'priced middle of the road'.... not so much... but you cant top their warranty.

Shop around, $479 seems to be minimum advertised price. (I told insurance company $480 for my personal valuables policy)

Not much different in price when looking at Eotechs/aimpoints/trijicons......

So yeah... not exactly middle of the road pricing.... Highline. Definately highline.

The op/video says the expensive RMR is more, and the mount is more on top of that to justify his statement....

I say, there are a number of different RMR's out there, and a lot of mount manufacturers as well. Covering a lot of price points- Still highline though. (though op/video specifically does not count the cheaper RMR for whatever personal reasons)

I was impressed though.... Dropping that rifle upside down right on the razor several times was pretty confidence inspiring!!!!!
