Help...!!

I am wanting to put a laser sight on my pellet rifle. Are the 2 groves on top of the barrel the same size as the 2 grooves on the bottom side of a pistol barrel.
Is a WEAVER RAIL MOUNT the same as a WEAVER SCOPE MOUNT ?

What is the width of the groves? Most likely you have a 3/8" dovetail. If this is the case, i would recommend this type adapter:

It will fit a dovetail from 3/8" to 11mm. It converts the stock scope mount to a picatinny rail. The pic. rail will make mounting a laser, or a scope for that matter, much easier.
Also, pictures might be a good idea. Oftentimes the dovetail on pellet guns are cut deep into the receiver, so these adapter mounts dont alway have enough "grab" to them.
