I have a romanian 4x surplus scope on its way but how are the variable scopes in terms of quality? I am curious about scopes in the 2-6x or 3-9x range and would like to stay with the traditional mounting style.
Not looking for bench rest accuracy. Just something that is effective while incorporating the design features of the rifle.
