    Competition Reflex Sight

I will be trying some Rimfire steel competition shooting both pistol & rifle next month, and I think I want to go reflex sight (my eyes ain't what they used to be). The distances are 10-30 yards 8" & 10" plates.

I know nothing about reflex sights, I will be using a Remington 597 semi auto rifle & Buckmark pistol. I want decent entry level type, I don't want to drop a bunch of money then find out this type of shooting isn't for me, so comp shooting on the cheap. After I have gone to several competitions I will see what most are using and their recommendations.

So I will be buying two sights, one for the 597 needs to mount to a picatinny style base (hopefully they have quick detach models avail). The buckmark doesn't need to be quick detach.

    Recommendation wanted...

Try the Bushnell TRS-25. Got one on my Browning Buckmark. It's lightweight, fairly inexpensive for a red dot, precise enough for competition shooting, and has a really long battery life. Check out this NUTNFANCY review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGLOd1jHz8E

C-More is the only real choice here. I'd get a RTS

They sell mounts for any firearm.

The OP said "I want decent entry level type, I don't want to drop a bunch of money"....the C-More is $419...the TRS-25 is $70-100, with the current rebate.
