    substitute for Larue Eotech mount

Is there anything else out there that is a little more reasonable in price but comparable in quality? Mounting Eotech 512 on Stag 2ht upper.

Hmm.. not anything with a quick detach lever and guaranteed return to zero. If you simply need a riser, YHM sells an EOTech riser for less than $30.

GG&G accu-cam mounts are awesome and fair in price, Check out their new BUIS as well.

thanks for the quick responses...bottom line is that the front sight is a nuissance in eotech window however i'm now thinking about just going flip up front sight. Probably Troy because that's what's on the rear. I'm thinking that even with a riser it'd be bothersome and I have no need for detaching the eotech as it's the primary optic.

          I use the GG&G accu-cam.
I've quick detached it and put it back on numerous times, still return to zero.
But I'm just a bench shooter and maybe do tactical rifle match once a month.
I have no idea how it'll hold up in the real world.
The quick detach lever does stick out the side more than the LaRue, something to take into consideration.

A clean sight picture with that flip-up is a nice option. If cost is an issue, the YHM front flip-up is just as nice as the Troy for far less money.

I went with a RRA dominator mount 'cause it has the rear sight and riser in one package.
