    Undecided on Sight

Okay so I just picked up a Spikes Tactical AR15. 5.56, 16" Barrel, Flat Top, Free float quad rails. It came with no sights so I have to get a scope. I have two in mind but I'm not sure which would be best. I am going to mainly use it from the bench up to about 300 yards. I'm also trying to keep the price down.

Shop our catalog of Rifle Scopes. Find AK 47, AR 308, & AR 15 scopes from Primary Arms, Trijicon, Vortex & more. Available in BDC, MOA, MIL, ACSS & more.

This is the new 6x sight with an awesome reticle. I like that it's 6x and has some great features. Not sure if 6x is overkill for the ranges I will mostly be shooting.

Quality rifle scopes including LPVO 1-6x, 1-8x variable power, and long-range optics. Primary Arms ACSS reticles, Vortex, Leupold, and more brands.

This is the other option I'm looking at. I'm not sure if the 3x is enough for me to make out a target at longer ranges. I like the more compact look of this one but I can't just base my choice off aesthetics since this gun will actually be shot and not just a safe queen.

I'm leaning towards the 6x because of the new reticle which looks awesome. Anyone think I'm making a mistake or have other options in the same price range?

I'd go for the new 6X

Oh and anything else in that price range would be junk compared to either of those.
