barrel visible?

mounting zeiss conquest on savage fpk. have nightforce 20 moa rail with med qd rings(leo's) and a 42 mm bell. i can see the barrel at the bottom of scope reticle. is 20moa on backward or do i just adjust scope up? may be a dumb question but i am confused.

The 20 MOA cant should be higher and the back and lower in the front. This way when you zero you have it zeroed with the reticle higher, and for longer distances you have more reticle travel down to go with the drop at further distances.

This was a very confusing subject for me too when i first started using scopes.....I think I have it down now..haha.
