Best rail for mid-length AR 15?

Hi! Recommendations for a BCM 16" mid-length upper? Why? This is my first build. It will be a general purpose weapon.

YHM Specter length Free Float its just a tad longer then a mid rail fully covering a low pro-file gas block plus a 1/2 inch more. 9.67" verses a Mid length is 9.2"

+1 for yankee hill. i like the diamond series and if you go with a lo-pro gas block, you can do a rifle length rail for longer sight radius.

I had the Light Weight rifle length rail and in my opinion its makes the front very heavy, too heavy on a 16" barrel. The balance is all off. I traded for a Light Weight Specter length and love it.

Ya I run the YHM on my rig too. I got it from New Frontier Armory. It's an 18" G-tach and I +1 the YHM parts in general. Unless you're looking to put out a substantial amount of cash the YHM rails are a good option imo.
