Non - QD vortex cantilever mount.

Its apparent that the vortex qd mounts are AD mounts, but does anyone know where or who the non qd mounts are made? Anyone have a personal experience with them?

Reffering to their 1 piece mount. Midway states made in the USA.

Looks like vortex says non QD mounts are made in China.

I have one and it works fine. No issues with losing a zero or finish. Only thing I don't like about it is it isn't a QD mount.

Did you lap the rings? Did the instructions mention having to lap them or not?

Nope. The mount didn't come with instructions either.
