i need help choosing an optic

i am going to start building a DTS srs covert and i want to get everyones thought on an optic for it. i want a good one for up to 700 yards. i want to keep the price below $2,500

i really like the elcan specter DR 1.5x-6x.

The optics on elcans are super clear. You will be happy with the scope but I'm not sure 6x is enough for a 700 yard shot (at least for me)

A Premier 3-15 or 5-25 is the best optic for that platform. I have an SRS with a 5-25 on it. I was running a vortex pst but made the upgrade to the Premier due to its one of a kind features that make it a PERFECT match to the DTA. If you EVER plan on running more than one caliber on that set up its worth spending the money on a Premier.
