Nikon Prostaff (2012) vs M223

The new 2012 Nikon Prostaff scopes say they can get up to 98% light transmission. Since the update, people are saying the prostaff line is brighter and better than the Buckmaster line. Does anyone know about he M223/P223?

I know the M223 is a good scope. Please don't chime in and tell me how great yours is. I'm really hoping someone has some experience with the newer 2012 Prostaff series in comparison to the M223/P223.

Another issue I have with the M223/P223 is the exposed turrets. I can see a case where I accidently push the turret down and knock the scope out of zero. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Looks like my question is answered. The Prostaff 5 scopes are coming out in March. I can wait until then.

For what it's worth I don't buy the 98% claim. The M223 is based on Monarch optics which is two levels higher up the food chain than the Prostaff.
