I have two 9mm carbines. I put a red dot on one of them and I like it. I'm thinking I may want an open sight on the other. Can anyone suggest a good one? Doe Primary Arms carry an open sight? Any drawbacks? I'm thinking I don't want to spend more than $200. Any questions I'm forgetting that would help someone with experience make a suggestion?

Fastest shooting open sights I have ever used are the standard A2 style rear peep sight along with the A2 front ears and post.
I am assuming this an AR style 9mm carbine. If you have rail on receiver and up front where gas block usually is on an AR, then look at the the Troy Industries Battle Sight Front and Battle Sight Rear Fixed. The rear has two different aperture sizes, large for fast and close and small for more accuracy at distance.
In my experience, iron sights like these can be as fast, or even faster at CQ distances than a red dot, more reliable too :-)
