Magpul MBUS rear sight problem

I know a lot of people here have Magpul MBUS flip up sights. Has anyone had an issue with the rear sight not flipping up when the left handle is pushed?

When looking down the sight, if I press the right handle, it flips up fine. When I press the large center button, it flips up fine. When I press on the left side, it seems like it doesn't have enough travel...

When pressing on the left side, the left latch disengages, but it doesn't bring the right latch down far enough. It looks like the left side has an angled piece where the latch can slide past, but the right side doesn't have that angle and it appears to be the issue.

Do you guys see the difference between the right and left hand sides? Should I just shave a little bit off?

Contact them. From what I've read in other forums they'll take care of you.

I did. It had to do with the design of the sight. It will flip up fine when not connected to the rifle. When it is connected, the lever makes contact with the rail and will not go down all the way. They told me to take a knife and shave off the extra material.... which I did... and it now flips up fine.
