No Mid-Range Priced Scope Red Dot Combo???

I am looking for combo scope red dot for my Daniel Defense AR. I have shopped continuously and I'm about to drop coin on the Leupold HAMR. But before I do, can someone please tell me why there are a myriad of cheap combo scope red dots for around $150-$250, then the price jumps to $1,450 - $2,500.00? Where are the combo scopes with a mid-range price???

I LOVE my tac-30. I don't have the combo though,its not really necessary at 1 x.

Personally, I hate magnified red dots on AR's. Take a look at one of these, great price point and excellent glass.

If you really must have a red dot, look at the Leupold CQT. Not that cheap, but an excellent red dot choice for an AR IMHO. You really don't need that much magnification to make solid hits out to 400 yards plus.

AIM has it for $499 (but it's OOS, they have email notification when in stock)... It was $449 when I got one a month ago, the cheapest I could find at the time... so you might find it cheaper than 499 somewhere else.

Just grab any of the mid range 1-4x scopes like the burris, nikon or whatever. then grab a scope mounted picatinny rail and add your favorite micro red dot. The primary arms ones seem to be pretty popular.

Leupold VX-R, or Leupold VX-R Patrol both come with the firedot.

When your life is in the line... Well that's not the time to say. Why did I go cheap. Then ask if your life is worth the extra few hundred dollars. Kinda like why should I pay for a sig instead of a less expensive hi point
