utg a2 fixed rear sight problems?

I have been looking at the utg fixed rear sight. I have been happy with the utg gas block.
My question is are their any quality issues with this product? Its made in the USA so I would hope it would be good quality. I will be adding a trijicon peep sight to it. Just looking for pros and cons thanks

I have one also, on a shotgun of all things. It works fine, very happy for the price.

Its made in china. its not mil-spec as far as metal alloy, dimensional tolerances, adjustment increments and function. It will allow you to look through a hole at your front sight post.

I do not think Trijicon makes a peep for it.... even if you did find a spare peep sight for it, I do not think it would work since I do not think the UTG A2 fixed has the proper screw holding the peep (metric thread pitch I bet...not mil-spec)

I did a review of one about 2 years ago, basic 3/5 stars good for the cash, works for a back-up, I would not rely on it for a primary aiming device. I then sold it in the marketplace...ad was active for under 5 minutes before someone replied with "Ill take it"...lol

I put the trijicon rear peep sit on fit fine. The only difference was the threads on the elevation. They are much more fine than my colt. Thanks for all the help. I could not sell the colt carry handle so I pulled all the part for the utg sight. Its tight and smooth. A better fit than on the Carry handle.. I got this used so no package. Most the stuff I see from utg is made in USA. Some stuff is not marked?
