Oh that's perfect, I was looking to get some folding sights as well. Are those sights any good? I was originally going to pick up some MI folding sights.

And what exactly do you mean by being forewarned about botach? Are they a disreputable business?

Well... they're not exactly reputable... They don't steal, but anything that can come close to that, they do... You're always rolling the dice with them, but sometimes you come out fine. Just use a credit card and be prepared that you might have to cancel or have charges reversed. Keep copies of your order. It's usually more about delays, etc. They might even still have a 10% coupon on the front page, which would make it cheaper.

GG&G are much better than MI.

Will the Eotech 552 or 512 work with a standard AR front sight? I have a Stag Arms 2H upper with one and it has an MI rear folding sight.

The 512/552 work fine with standard iron sights. They give absolute co-witness. If you want lower 1/3, you'll need a riser, but otherwise, it's plug'n'play right out of the box.

I checked optics planet and discovery optics their prices were the same as swfa and their web sites are a drag to find stuff compared to swfa.

Price check was on a Leupold MK4 scope.
