    A choice between 2 Leupolds....

I am looking at either a Mark AR 1.5-4x20, firedot SPR, 1inch main tube, P5 dials or a VX- R 1.25-4x20, firedot Circle, 30mm main tube.

They are both about the same cost.
The SPR has BDC, but its sorta gimmichy since its a 308 BDC converted to also show 5.56, 55gr.

Both Circle and SPR Firedots have a 10moa diameter..from what I know

Where I am in doubt is should I spend the extra $50 or go with the mark AR or is there something about the P5 dials or other aspects that make it a better deal?

    What say you all .

Hunting, plinking, sd/hd , range... Maybe some amateur 3 gun. Nothing past 400 that I can imagine well maybe goofing off at a long range

Went with the VX-R. I will take some pics and start a review thread after all the parts show up.

Actually just got the new Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 (1-4 w/SPR reticle) in the mail today. Nice little scope – clear glass and very light which was mainly why I bought it.

Unfortunately with the price of .223/5.56 the way it is currently, it could be a few months before I take this set up out for a test drive.

I bought the VR-X also and the Leupold mount. However I can see the front sight through the scope. I bought the riser so if the scope breaks I have the flip up rear sght as back up.
