I have ARMS mounts on multiple rifles and they're all the original style levers. I'm about to buy another (a #31 for a Vortex Sparc) and I see I can get the "Mk II" levers on it for a whole extra $4.
Anyone have experience with the newer type levers? They were intro'd a few years ago and haven't seemed to have caught on. You'd think when you improve something it gets adopted after a fashion, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
The original levers tend to be monstrously difficult to use early on and then wear in after a bit (have never had them wear to the point where they are no longer secure). Maybe something adjustable would even out that experience?
