Hey guys. Asking for help here. My birthday is on the fifth and my wife gave me the go ahead to get an Aimpoint micro T-1. Problem is, even with her birthday help, I can't afford what they are going for used or new. So, I am asking that anyone who knows of a sale or anyone els who's selling, to lease fill me in. I have $450 to spend but could probably get another 50 but $500 is pushing it on my budget, so more would be imposible. I finally have the chance to not settle and get this so I'm gunning for it. Any input or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot and God bless.

How about saving a little longer and buying yourself a belated birthday present?
Botach Tactical has your Aimpoint with mount and spacer included for $550.
Botach
My mention of Botach will bring out the Botach Haters, but I have purchased numerous times, and so has a friend, and neither of us has a problem. -
Look for an H-1 instead? The difference is the T-1 is NV compatible and can be submerged farther underwater than the H-1. If you aren't going to be using NV or swimming deeper under water than the H-1 limit, don't spend the extra $100-$150 for the T-1.
You can get an H-1 4MOA shipped for $510.15 with coupon code "opiv5of" at Optics Planet.

Didn't work and the optic is 588. At that price, I'd rather just pay the extra 30 for a T-1. Thanks anyway.Look for an H-1 instead? I don't want to be your financial advisor, but if $50 is pushing your budget, maybe you can look at something else besides an AIMPOINT? No one is denying that they're great optics, but you should also look at what you're doing with it.
None of us are going to war and hopefully we will not any time soon.
With that said, I've read great things about the Bushnell TRS-25. It's under $100, and a lot of people say it's great.
Here's a review on youtube.
With the $350 saved, you can maybe buy some ammo to play with your new optic.
Now if you're just like me, you might enjoy buying really nice stuff. If that's the case, buy once cry once. But there's so many good reviews online and it's only $82 on Amazon, and if you need a riser, it's only another $10. You can have some red dot fun for right around $100.
If in the future, you think you still want the AIMPOINT, just sell the bushnell, i'm sure you can get back 80-90% of your money unless you bang it all up.
Good luck with your decision, post up pics with whatever you get and happy early birthday.Comment

Well thanks a lot, sir, for giving me free financial advise and an early birthday wish. So, there are a few reasons why I MUST get the Aimpoint. For one, with my income, if I don't get it now, it will be a long time before I can. I have a chance so I must take it. Two, call me crazy, but I do feel as though I may be using that optic in a war. A civil way may be ahead of us and I plan to fight by the next average Joe that will die a free man before he lives as a slave. Also, out of all of the optics that mimic the Aimpoint micro, the Bushnell seems to be the best one, but there are still a few bad reviews of it failing on an AK. I have not seen one bad review for Aimpoints and 7.62x39. Fourth, I do live by the buy once cry once after a bad experience. I had a Burris Fastfire III and even that crapped out on me, twice. Also, when I was young, I had a car that I loved and wanted to trick out. I always sacrificed and never got things when I had the chance. Her name was Mortisha and now she is a junker. Well I am reviving Mortisha in this rifle and sparing no expense. I do plan on getting a TRS-25 for my shotgun when I am finished with my AK. I didn't get my rifle for plinking. I got it in preparation that one day the government will go too far and I may have to defend myself and my family against tyranny. It NEEDS to be top notch so I can have a fighting chance and all advantages possible. I am not a crazy guy, just well informed and it is not looking too good these days. I will post pics when she is mostly done. Still need an Ultimak top and bottom rail, change the foldable buttstock to a fixed telescoping one, surefire sr07 switch, and a few other small things. I have plenty of ammo and mags. Thanks again.I don't want to be your financial advisor, but if $50 is pushing your budget, maybe you can look at something else besides an AIMPOINT?
