Question about Primary Arms Micro RDS

Hey guys I just picked up a PA micro RDS, and when I look through it I can see red light around the outer left edge of the front glass from top center to bottom center.

I'm not talking about light coming back into the tube from being on intensity 11, just a faint, very fine line red half circle, that gets brighter with intensity.

So i'm just wondering if this is normal or not because its pretty distracting.

I should see no light but the dot correct?

If you are looking directly through the sight at your target with both eyes open you shouldn't see the ring. If you are sitting in your house just testing it out, you'll see the ring. Same deal with a $500 aimpoint.

Take a look at it outside with both eyes open and focus your eye at target range, it should go away. Like mentioned above that is common in most Dots.
