Help with Bushnell research

I'm looking for a good description of the Bushnell Elite, Bushnell Elite 6500 and Bushnell Elite Tactical lines.

The Bushnell site does not really differentiate between the above lines. Does anyone know of an online research that gives good info on the differences/features of them?

After a very informative (sometimes tense) thread on the Centerfire Rifle forum I'm looking at Vortex and Bushnell to top a Remington 700 .308. The Vortex site does a great job at telling you all the features of their different lines.

Once you get in and look at the individual scopes though, their info is somewhat lacking. Critical info such as weight and total adjustment range are often not listed, so you end up having to go back to the Bushnell site to look that stuff up. I ended up comparing numbers between Bushnell, Vortex, and SWFA scopes for a few months before finally settling on a Bushnell 3-12X44 FFP for use on my latest 18" SPR. The deciding factor for me was the availability of a side parallax adjustment and the G2DMR reticle. That, and I found a place that sells the 3-12X44 for $714.00

Vint- Both of those are far beyond my price range. Originally I was looking at around $400, after my afore mentioned thread I've pushed it to between $600-700 by dropping the purchase of a brake and bipod.

Decided on the Bushnell ET6245FG with the G2DMR for a SSG 04. The place where I found it had a really good price on it, but they just blew threw the 4 that they got in stock and are backordered again.

I was looking to see if there was any detail on the durability/ruggedness between the 3 series. I can't find that on the Bushnell or SWFA site (or any other's I've checked). Any know if there is a difference there?

Found this during my quest for a scope, one of the deciding factors in favor of the Bushnell:



I've also read a lot of good things concerning the reliability of the SWFA 3-9X42 SS on Opticstalk and Snipers Hide forums. (Opticstalk is run by SWFA, FWIW...)

I wasn't able to dig up much regarding the reliability of the Vortex Viper PST scopes, either good or bad. I guess the lack of negative reports could be taken as a positive sign....

I've been very happy with my vortex pst 6-24 ffp. What sold me on it was the company's warranty, anything unintentional and they will fix or replace. Can't beat that. I have found it to be quite a nice scope, I like the knobs and the clicks, it's repeatable and I have not had any issues what so ever with it. My buddy has a zeiss conquest and in my opinion it has better glass, but not as nice of other features for a target style rifle.

I personally really want to try the bushnell elite tactical fixed 10x, only wish it had a parallax adjustment. It's cheap $200 and has great reviews.

That Daniel Defense tortue test video was the reason I bought an Aimpoint. That Aimpoint Micro too a beating and even at the end when the glass broke the dot was still on and zeroed.
