    Hey brother,
Don't count out the Leupold! Give them a call. If your still active duty, I know for a fact they give you a killer discount. Good luck!

In today's market, I would absolutely count out all of Leupold's current offerings.
They are way behind the curve on enhanced reticles, milradian based turrets and first focal plane reticles.
To get all those features in a Leupold the price gets you into USO or Schmidt & Bender territory.
The problem is that for that kind of money, the glass is nowhere near a Schmidt...

Leupold made good scopes back when they were one of the only companies offering a reliable tactical scope, but those days are gone.
Current production Leupold's are no longer nearly as reliable as the scopes that earned leupold their reputation.
It's really a shame they have dropped their quality so much.

I went with the Bushnell because of this...

It's 1 of 2 videos regarding the Bushnell Tac. Elt. 6-24x50

Every test the glass is put through, is something that any typical shooter will do or come across. And for the price of the glass, I basically got a Leupold Mark VI for nearly half the price.

My "review" of the Bushnell will come soon, as I am getting the Remi tomorrow (found a different dealer) and shooting it soon.

Thanks for all the help everyone.
