offset mounts

I am looking into an offset picatinny mount for a RDS, wondering if anyone could recommend some solid models from personal experience.

I have a Larue Offset for and Aimpoint T1 and a DD Offset mount with Trijicon riser for my Trijicon RMR.

They both work well.

Is the riser necessary for the RMR or just preference?

Riser is a preference, just puts the sight at the level you feel most comfortable

Riser is preference and the shape of your face. If it's too low on the offset, if your cheek weld is naturally higher, you wont be able to see the dot.

I use a Weaver Offset Rail Adapter:

I have a Burris FastFire II on it, the assembly is mounted in front of a 5-15x40 Elite 3200 in a DNZ Freedom Reaper mount. If I maintain my cheek weld, and rotate the rifle, the dot comes up right where the reticle was.
