Hey all I am new here and Although not from CA I have found a lot of good info on here.
Today I purchased an Aimpoint CompM3 for my Core15 rifle and I am so freakin impressed its unbelievable! I did the whole Eotech/Aimpoint debate forever and never only slightly leaned towards Aimpoint simply becaused it SEEMED more durable. I scoured the web and LGS for the best deals and could not really decide. Finally today i went to a LGS and they had a used (not a scratch on it) Aimpoint CompM3 with a QRP mount, rubber cover, and flashkill for $445.00. I jumped on it.
Took it home, mounted, and went to the range. straight away POI was only about an inch right and 2 inches high. I adjusted, 3 shots, adjusted, 3 shots, PERFECT! This is the fastest I have ever sighted in anything and I didnt even use a bore-sighter. I proceeded to run it through numerous different firing drills and I AM IN LOVE.
