Primary Arms 3XLER with ADM mount rear sight clearance ?

    Hello,

I've got a Primary Arms 3XLER red dot magnifier with an ADM twist to side mount. Unfortunately, the rubber armor on the magnifier will not clear the Matech BUIS that I have. I'm curios what others are using for a BUIS with the Primary Arms 3XLER magnifier. I'm interested in a MI SPLP rear sight that has a .4375" profile to match the MI front sight I have, but I also see that Primary Arms has the Troy rear sight on sale right now and its got a .460" profile.

Anyone using the Matech BUIS with the PA 3XLER magnifier? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Theirs not much to it so I can't see how something is being done wrong, but its always possible.

Unfortunately, not at home or I could get my calipers out and measure.

    Thanks in advance.

Primary Arms blog introducing the 3XLER magnifier has a response that mentions the magnifier on the ADM clears the Troy.

PA had it on sale, so went back to them and ordered the Troy. Matech BUIS will be going up for sale soon.

I use Troy and Lucid 2-5X (w/ADM swing mount) clears as well as Burris AR Tripler (w/LaRue FTS and Burris AR Pivot Ring)... I haven't used PA (yet), but Troy is low profile and designed for clearance - I think pretty much any magnifier will clear.

Yeah the Troy works with the ADM swing mount. Got the Troy today (thanks PA, hella fast shipping) and got it in place of the Matech.
