    streamlight or glock light?

Which is better quality wise, glock or streamlight? I wanna spend around $100. To go on either G23 or fnp9. I'm not looking to spend surefire money here. I'm leaning towards the tlr-1... Happy Thanksgiving

Surefire X300. More than your budget, but I've had both of the ones you listed, plus insight, and they all pale in comparison to the Surefire.

Used ones can be had under $150 typically.

Another vote for the TLR-1. I think it's the best intersection of price and performance available.

The Streamlight would be an awesome light if it weren't for the mounting system. I had multiple issues with the thing coming loose. If you use thread locker to fix the mount in place, you lose the ability to remove it from the weapon without a tool.

The Surefire is superior in every way and is worth the money.

It would just be on a G23 HD gun that sits in the handgun safe most of the time. Blue thread lock wouldn't be a problem,I have no need for QD. So,is it still worth $50-$150 more for a surefire?

Personally, I still say Surefire, but I'm a Surefire whore. One thing in your favor if you decide to get the X300 is the 170 lumen model has dropped in price since the 500 lumen model came out earlier this year. Might be able to get one on the used market for cheaper than you might think. New they are around $185 currently (170 lumen model) and $215 for the new 500 lumen.

I own 2 TLR-1 and 2 TLR-2. Never had an issue with their lights. always works. Bright. Never comes loose after firing 200+ rounds.

with that being said, my vote is for the glock light. jk

I've never had an issue with mine coming loose shooting 230 gr white box. I dont use a tool to tighten at all ether, just as tight as my fingers can do.

Between tlr and glocklight? TLR hands down.
The "best" handgun caliber debate rages on, meanwhile I just keep buying low recoil 00 buck.

TLR-3 all the way. That effer is super bright, lightweight and compact. Save your dough for ammo rather than buying a surefire, unless you plan on going deep sea diving with your glock. Nice bright focal beam and surrounding light. I got one and It works great.

For a Glock, I suggest an Insight M3. You get the attachment system like a Surefire for the cost of a Streamlight. They also fit Glocks very well with very little gap.
