    10/22 scope/mount problems, help!

    I installed Talley rings... http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/165404
along with a Browning 8x24 scope. Now I am maxed out on adjustment and am 2" low and right.

I originally was using the Ruger mount with a Bushnell 4x scope with built in rail, so no rings. This combo was dead on.

Is it my rings? My scope?

Should I use the Ruger base with rings? If so what rings do you recommend?

Several possibilities. If everything is stock, it could be the ring/base combo. You can either try Burris Zee Signature rings which allows you to install shims in the rings to adjust the elevation or get a sloped base like the one made by Tactical Solutions.

I've bought the see-thru Weaver rings. I bought them online (sorta mixed reviews at Midway but for $10 I'll give them a try) and bought another from Wally World when one of the screws holding the base onto the receiver backed out (shoulda used Loctite the first time). I was out plinking stell at ~30 yds a week ago and just used the iron sights. For punching paper, I've got a 3-9x Bushnell that adjusted in and it has held zero.
