    Which way do Knobs turn?

Hi I just bought a U.S.OPTICS SN3 1.8-10X Power scope. It has the 1/4 in MOA Knobs on it - 4 clicks = 1moa or inch at 100yrds. I am new to scope world. the windage knob has no arrow showing which way the knob turns for Rt. or Left. Which way do I turn, counter-clockwise for Rt and clockwise for left. Please help I have no arrows. Thanks Ripper

I'm surprised yours don't have marks. Anyways it's clockwise for left and counterclockwise for right.

You should contact US optics and ask for replacement.

Most Knobs have R (right) or U (up) with arrows pointing to the direction.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

The SN-3 windage knob should have R and L on the knob to indicate which way to turn.
        Look at this photo, it's a 3.8-22 .

Thanks for the close up picture, Yes My knobs have the L and the R on them. So turning the Knob counter-clockwise moves shot to the Rt. and clock-wise moves to the shot to left. But when I put on the bore sighter and look at the grid and turn the knobs as directed above the cross hairs move in the opposite direction, I am turning the knob to the right and I see the cross hairs moving to the left, thats were I am getting confused. I am new to this please explain

Thats exactly what should happen. The crosshairs will appear to move in the opposite direction. That makes you move the rifle to the direction indicated on the scope to get back on target. This moves your point of impact in the desired direction.

It sounds like this scope is too complicated. I will do you the favor of taking it off your hands for the grand sum of $200.

Nice scope. Glad it's coming together for you now. What rifle is it on?

The R and L indicates the direction you want your bullet impact to move, so the reticle will move in the opposite direction.

Thanks guy's for all the help, I understand it now. The Rifle I have the sn-3 on is a Springfield M1A Loaded Standard, I have switched out to all USGI Parts, Everything but the reciever and barrel. I have a NICE USGI Birch Stock on it and vented Hand guard too. The Rifle looks like it came from 1960's Viet-Nam WAR. Shoot's Bitchen.

That scope IMHO makes for the ultimate DMR/mid-range sniper set-up.

I keep thinking about it on a M1A or AR10, but I can't justify buying a USO for a semi before my precision rifle.

Let us know how it shoots. I'd love to see some pics.
