    quick math question...

    If I shoot right on the dot at 30 feet, how many mil I need to raise at 100 yards? I'm not sure about my math, but I think i need to raise 3.2 mil. Am I correct?

    Depends on your bullet flight path. If your zeroed at 10 yards the bullets going to rise like a foot by the time it gets to 100 yards. So yeah your about right, 3.2 mils (11.5"). You'd be dialing down though, or holding low.

        Actually 1 Mill =3.438 MOA
        MOA=1.047"@ 100 yards

        Hope this helps

          Height of the scope over the bore is also a variable that should be taken into consideration. The higher the scope, the greater the difference will be between 10 and 100 yard zero.

            Just a thought why not just 0 at 100?

              Because the place I'm staying right now only 35 feet wall to wall. And I just want to a get it on paper when I go to the range to zero at 100 yards, instead of wasting ammo trying to get on target. And no, I'm not firing the gun indoor LOL... I put a thumbnail on the wall and look thru the barrel to aim at it. BTW, 3.2mil down is damn close, got the 1st shot on paper
