Hello All, I have a SA Lightweight Operator which I use for duty. It currently has the Trijicon Bright & Tough night sights on it but I'm interested in the Trijicon HD night sights. Will the HD sights fit on the gun? And if so is it really worth swapping out the other sights for these? I was wondering if anyone can give me advice if there is a big difference in faster target acquisition? Thanks in advance!

I've used both, and all my handguns but one* have the standard Bright & Tough Trijicons. Personally, I wouldn't think it's worth the trouble and expense.
You would gain from the larger circle on the front sight in the daytime, but whether it's worth the expense is a personal call.
* You lucky, lucky bastard with your dovetailed front sight on your Springfield. My Springfield 1911 has the bastard neither-narrow-nor-wide front post.
