    Maybe for a night hunt (if that's legal in CA)? Night target shooting at close range?
    Because like all things there is a wrong way and right way to do things, including the use of a light.

        This one is a pricey for what it could be. At best it could be a Cree R2 with low output setting and for $39 dollars no way. Do not purchase if the seller doesn't disclose what LED is being used and at least the amp draw. It is like buying a car and not knowing the brand of car or what type of engine it has. This is a big no...If you want long, long runtimes get a Deal Extreme Cree R2 with 5 modes. You could have overnight runtimes on low and for $10 delivered its hard to beat. Unless you want a quality beam then Malkoff and Derelight are the only P60 drop-ins I have had that produce purtyyy beam.

        Furthermore;
        Malkoff has this already it is the M60LL. I have the M60LLF and I get 8 hours of 80 lumens.
        as opposed to Surefire P60L where the 80 lumens is the starting point and it gradually drops to a couple lumens at 12 hours, but it is 80 lumens for around the 1st hour.

          After testing lots of lights, I too have recently settled on 6Ps or 9Ps hosting Malkoff replacements. I have the M60, M60 9v, M60LW (my wife's favorite) MC-E flood, MC-E DD, and others. They are just good solid units, AND made in the USA!
