help with new scope

Just bought a Bushnell Banner model 713946c its a 3x-9x40. It came with the wrong manual. They included a battery, but I cannot find any info as to were it goes !!!! Thanks for the help

Battery location problem solved!!!

Problem solved. Decided to try the only logical place, and there it was. Have to remove the Bullet Drop Compensator knob and there it is. I am not really sure how to use it, but it lights up the reticle either green or red to different densities depending on the knob setting.
