    Night Vision FT-600

I have a Famous Trails FT-600 willing to sell for 150 obo or trade for 7.62x39 ammo. This is a brand new unit just put in batteries to see if it works and it does. Has built in IR illuminator. uses 3 AAA batteries.

For the night vision noobs: avoid any Russian 1st gen scopes that use a commercial 1st gen tube. 1st gen needs a 3 stage cascade (3 S-20 elements bonded together end to end) tube to function without IR. A cascade tube will be at least 6" long. A single stage or 1/3 of a cascade tube like the cheap Russian ones, is not much better then what the naked eye can see. A day scope with big quality optics works just as well. You need to step up to an 1PN-34/1PN-58 or a AN/PVS-1/2 to get decent passive night vision performance from a 1st gen. IR used with a weapon scope is illegal in CA.
