Does anyone have any experience with the Springfield Armory 4.5-15x50 scopes. They have an "internal rangefinder." Basically there are several lines and dots designed to be lined up in a person's shoulders and the longer the range, the smaller the lines. I bought one a couple of years ago, and I have it mounted on my FN .308. I haven't got a chance to really open up my rifle yet, but I want to go to the Gunsite Urban Precision Course, and I'm not sure about my scope's durability. Yeah, I know it's not a Mark 4, or the top of the line, but does anyone have any info on them? Thanks.

I've heard of many problems with those scopes. Check here and here.
You're probably going to want something a little more reliable for taking a class. Nothing sucks more than paying a lot of money to go to a class and having your scope go down, then getting to use the "range slut loaner rifle."
If you want a good reliable scope thats inexpensive, check out the Bushnell 3200 10x mildot. I used one in the class I took here. It performed perfectly.Last edited by rksimple; 02-20-2008, 7:38 AM.GAP Team Shooter 5
