You have a faster drop with the 300 AAC, but you can still use that TA31 with it. Just zero and afetr a little time and some rounds down range you'll be able to put some dope together at where your holdovers will be yardage wise. Wont be too far off and a quick adjust on the fly will dot it if need be. I don't know exact, but at 200 yards you might be 3''-4'' difference from 223 to 300 AAC. Someone might want to check that, been a long day here...

I don’t know enough about 300 BLK ballistics yet to give you an firm answer, but I’m sure it’s not going to be calibrated regardless if you are using a 5.56 or .308 ACOG. Both those units are calibrated for a specific ammunition/bullet weight/ velocity.
A ballistic calculator like Ballistics FTE can get you those answers pretty fast if you have a 300 BLK chrono results from your rifle.
You are basically going to have to re-learn and remember new holdovers when using either of those optics.ExtremeXComment

I doubt the 7.62 nato hold overs will be of any use either. Just DOPE it the old fashioned way and work out your owner hold oversThe California Moderate Centrist Militia member in exile
