Your point of aim will be 1.41 inches higher. Turrets will not be adjusted.

Aim at the center circle and adjust your impact to hit 1.41 inches above your POA. That will give you your 200 yard zero. With a .223 I usually zero for 100 yards knowing that at 200 I am 1.41 inches low but still a center mass shot. Spot ON is very handy for many adjustments. Make sure you lift your turrets upa nd turn them to zero when you are done and push them down, that way you'll know you are set to go every time.

I zero at 50 yards so I will be on at 200 yards too. btw that's a kick butt application I use it alot myself with mu Buckmaster. It is useful for all scopes though very nice application and you can get it for protable type phones and tablets also.

or.... 1.41 inches at 100 means 1.4 MOA.....well almost...just adjust the turrets 1.4 MOA down and you're set

This application has been extremely useful for me! I downloaded the iPhone app and use it each time I go to the range. I have found it to be very accurate for the majority of the .223/5.56 rounds I shoot, which are primarily 55gr. m193's or PMC.

Thanks for the info guys, ill have to try things out when i finally get to the range.

The top of the scope says 1click=1/2"/100yd... so would you guys say 3clicks down should do the trick?

Ralph, While I do not have the P-223 3x Carbine Scope, You are correct that the adjustment at 100 yards is 1/2 inch and that your correction would be 3 clicks up. This is one of the few Nikon Scopes with which I have zero range time. Originally I thought it was also 1/4 MOA but thanks for setting me straight on that.

Used this today for the first time with my Coyote Special - had zero @ 100 two weeks ago, went and shot on the big range at Angeles today - amazing how simple it was to start dinging steel out to 400 yards with very little effort. Very useful app - already ordered a buckmaster BDC for another one of my rifles.
