    Deciding on a Spotting Scope

I plan on shooting .223/5.56 on bench around 200yd-300yds and also want to sight in my red dots and scopes. I want to get a spotting scope and came down to these 4. I want to know your opinions on these or have any suggestions on another spotting scope around $200-$500 range.

    Konus Konuspot 20-60x80mm 7120 kit
    Barska Gladiator 20-60x90mm AD10606 kit
    Redfield Rampage 20-60x80mm 114651 kit

Eye relief is important to me and having a 80mm objective lens for more light to come in to see better long distances.

The Alpen has been working out real nice for me. I use the same one.

A lot of guys that shoot matches use the konus. The have good optics for the price. I'm eventually going to get one.

I got my konuspot 20-60x100 today. It is super clear and brite. The only down side is it is big and heavy. You will need a good big tripod to hold it up. Now waiting for the tripod.

Konus 20x60 100 -- great clarity and power. Read mirage and see little holes great!

Just looked through the Vortex HD spotting scope at Field Time as well as their lower end version, and the HD glass is aparant over the cheaper version. Very bright picture and amazing quality.

I like my Alpen and even run a video camera through it to do some self-spotting on the 500 yard gong. Works great.

I do need to add a polarizing filter though for the brightest days and an 82mm filter fits the inside threads leaving the outer threads for the lens cap.

I have a Vortex Viper HD 20-60x80 spotting scope. Amazing scope for the price (plus you get Vortex's no BS warranty). So what I did was find the cheapest price online and SWFA price matches it 110%.
