    AR Scope for 100-125?

So I had a Bushnell Banner 3x9 40mm that is about 12 years old that went to pot on me the other day at the range. As I was shooting, the cross hairs suddenly started rotating...and no, the scope wasn't moving.

That said, I'd like to replace it. I've been looking at simply getting another Banner but wanted to know if anyone had any other suggestions that fell into the $100-125 (or a bit more) range. I've been using the rifle primarily for target practice at 100 and 200 yards. I may take it hunting at some point. The scope is mounted to the Burris PEPR 1" QD mount. This would be used exclusively on the AR.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

I'm running this Nikon on my AR varminter at the moment. It's zeroed at 100 and has kept zero for hundreds of rounds at the range.

Haven't had the opportunity to take it further than 100yds, but it does allow me 0.5-0.7moa with 69gr federal premium match.

If you want another 3-9x40 I highly recommend the Vortex Diamondback… It’s a little over your price range but it’s a fantastic optic, but a lifetime no hassle warranty in case you ever need it.

Yeah, both the Diamondback and Prostaff are good options in this price range. I give the edge to the Prostaff because of the Spot On Ballistic Match program. But you will be happy with either one...

          Burris E1 (3-9x40)

never-mind, I overlooked the price range... but it's worth paying twice as much (still very reasonably priced).

The smaller Nikons can be found for that price range. Used to be that you could get a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 for right around that...ah well....

I also would say the Nikon line. Around 150.00 range but they have lifetime warranty and are very good scopes. A one year warranty would not cut it for me. That shows very little Faith in what you are selling. I have Prostaffs and a P223 All very nice. Have not owned a Redfield Revolution but have read they are very good too.

Redfield scope made by Leupold. Good scope for less money.
