for removing the front sight on my M&P40. I ordered one of the Sight Pushers from a guy on here and it didn't even come close to budging it. I beat the tar out of it with an aluminum punch, a brass punch, and even a steel punch and it has yet to move a bit. I really don't want to resort to heat, even if it's localized. Suggestions?

Take it to a shop and let them do it with their press? The least risky choice for myself anyway.Last edited by Dinosaur Jr; 09-27-2012, 9:32 PM.Laws against murder and attempted murder should have been the only gun control laws ever needed in America...Comment

I got it. I had to use a steel punch and beat the tar out of it. Even the steel punch didn't leave the slightest mark in that Trijicon sight. Those things are tough as hell!Comment
